Vivo has announced the addition of a new smartphone to its T4 series in India. The Vivo T4 Ultra will debut on June 18, positioned as a premium offering within the lineup. The device introduces MediaTek’s top-tier Dimensity 9300+ processor, a 5,500mAh battery with 90W charging, and a high-performance triple-lens rear camera system.
The Vivo T4 Ultra comes in three memory configurations. The base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 37,999. Higher variants with 12GB RAM are offered at Rs 39,999 for 256GB storage and Rs 41,999 for the 512GB model. Buyers can choose from two finishes—Meteor Grey and Phoenix Gold.
Sales begin on June 18 through Flipkart, Vivo India’s official website, and authorized offline retailers. Launch offers include a flat Rs 3,000 discount on purchases made using SBI, HDFC, or Axis Bank cards.
The T4 Ultra is built around a 6.67-inch quad-curved AMOLED screen delivering a resolution of 1.5K (1,260 x 2,800 pixels). With a refresh rate of 120Hz, 300Hz touch sampling, and peak brightness reaching 5,000 nits, the display supports HDR10+ and features PWM dimming at 2,160Hz, alongside SGS certification for reduced blue light exposure.
Underneath, the smartphone is powered by a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. It is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage, running on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.
For imaging, the rear panel houses a triple-camera array. The setup includes a 50MP Sony sensor with f/1.88 aperture and OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP Sony periscope unit offering 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. OIS and EIS are integrated into both the main and telephoto sensors. A 32MP front camera handles selfies and video conferencing.
Powering the phone is a 5,500mAh battery that supports Vivo’s 90W FlashCharge via USB-C. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.4, dual-band Wi-Fi, OTG, GPS with NavIC, and dual SIM support.
Biometric access is managed through an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device also supports several AI-based features such as AI Call Translation, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, and AI Erase. Additionally, Circle to Search from Google is integrated.
The T4 Ultra carries an IP64 certification, offering basic protection against dust and splashes. The Meteor Grey variant weighs 192 grams with a 7.43mm profile, while the Phoenix Gold model is marginally thicker and heavier at 7.45mm and 193 grams respectively.
